Wildcrafted Flower Essence & Anointing Oils

Plant Spirit

What Are Flower Essences and Anointing Oils and How Do They Support Our Wellbeing?

Flower essences are the energetic imprint and healing vibration of flowers in the full height of their bloom, captured in pure water. They offer a beautiful way to connect with nature and to be in relationship with the energy and spirit of a particular plant. Essences may be solar or lunar infused or a combination of both. As they are created, they may also be energetically imbued with the marking of a particular cosmic or seasonal event such as new moon, full moon, or other lunar phases as well as solstices or equinoxes.

They are typically preserved with alcohol and thus have a stable shelf life, from 6-10years.

Flower essences, like essential oils connect us to the wisdom of the plant through energetics, they do not offer aromatherapeutic properties.

Flower essences connect us to wild wisdom and offer us vibrational healing support for emotional well-being and soul development. They support the soul and harmonize the spirit enabling us to learn and grow from life’s experiences. Essences are potent, slow medicine. They can be used for as needed or for immediate support. However, when used in a consistent, devoted fashion we enter into a deep relationship with the energy and essence of the flower. It is in this way that potency is increased, not by taking more drops at one time, but by using them on a frequent, consistent basis. This supports the anchoring of the essences at deeper levels of consciousness.

A healing journey of unfolding through the seasons of your life.

How to Journey with Flower Essences

An invitation to commune as needed for immediate support.  For deeper relationship, you may commune with 3 drops, 3 times daily for one lunar cycle,  sublingually under the tongue, or in a glass of water, or other beverage of choice.  You may also anoint and adorn the body in any way that feels nourishing, in companionship with any spiritual practice such as; yoga or meditation as well as using alongside massage, reiki or acupuncture.      Perhaps even adding to a ritual bath.
Notice the subtle shifts that take place in your life. Pay attention to syncronicities and how things may simply fall into place.  Perhaps a change in perspective, new opportunities, clarity of choice, a brighter outlook, all in support of your beautiful becoming.  Not everyone will experience the same shifts as the flowers will meet you where you need it most.  We each have our own unique relationship with the flowers.

The Power of Ritual Anointment

Every cell in the body is a universe unto itself, a place for the divine to reside. The body is a temple. When we anoint ourselves, we bless ourselves. We honour the beauty within through the portal of ritual.  To anoint oneself is an expression of the divine beauty within that seeks outward expression in everything we do.
I invite you to set an intention and anoint the body.
Anointing the feet to become more present and connect to the Earth, inviting groundlessness, strength and stability.
With the intention of honour and reverence, one may choose to anoint the knees, the body’s place of bowing and lowering oneself to the earth.
Anointing the belly, honours the centre of creation where you birth new ideas and expand into your creativity.
The Solar Plexis found at the base of your sternum when anointed supports empowerment and strength, allowing your inner light to shine.
Anointing the heart to deepen into love, compassion and receptivity.
Anointing the throat supports speaking ones truth, self expression and communication.
Anointing the third eye, on the forehead between the brow point honours clarity and quieting of the mind, as well as opening up intuitive and psychic abilities.
Anointing the crown of the head opens you up to the Divine.
When anointing the hands one may bring mindfulness to the nature of the reciprocity of giving and receiving. Consider how you use your hands to care for and nurture yourself and others.

My Wildcrafting Journey

A story not unlike so many women’s stories. One of feeling lost, of feeling disconnected from her true self, afraid to honour her innate gifts, playing small so as not to block the sun from anyone else, experiencing guilt and shame. And finding myself once more through the pleasure and the ache of motherhood, as rite of passage.

In understanding the forces larger than me alone, aimed at disconnecting all women from their power. Taking radical responsibility for my life, I began to reclaim my power with the loving support of the moon. I began a journey of self discovery and cyclical self awareness with nature, noticing rhythms and patterns in my lived experience, charting and journaling with the phases of the moon. Walking in the meadow near my home each day soon became a part of my spiritual practice with nature. A practice of re-membrance of self. I became deeply devoted to simply showing up and putting one foot in front of the other, much like my relationship with the moon. The land became witness to my own joys and sorrows, in celebration and grief and the everyday rhythm of days in between.

This deepening relationship catalyzed re-membrance of my childlike curiosity and wonderment as innate gifts. A sensitivity that had often been misunderstood or ridiculed. I began to understand more deeply that all of nature is symbolic language, a tool of divination, much like the moon, revealing what was hidden and showing me the way to move towards healing and wholeness. A deepening of rhythmic intelligence and connection with cyclical time. Soul medicine meant to support us on our journey. Slowly over time, nature revealed even more of herself to me and I to her. I allowed my curiosity to guide me, to truly allow my eyes to witness her beauty and my own.
The dancing light and shadow, the rustling of leaves and the way of the wind. The bird song and the flowers. The flowers captivated me and called me to intuitively work with them.

These wild offerings were born with reverence to support one’s fullest expression in the ever changing seasons of life. To inspire connection with the natural world, with beauty and with the art of self blessing. All flowers and tree resin and buds are wild foraged and mindfully harvested from my garden and the green spaces near my home. Tuning into the teachings that the medicine that grows bioregionally and closest to home is often the most potent. The anointing oils and flower essences are ceremonially crafted in small batches, in celebration of slow, seasonal earth medicine. In co-creation with the natural world. Guided by deep intuitive knowing, connection to ancestral roots and the knowing that we are not separate from nature.

With these wild offerings, know that all of nature is supporting you, not just the energetics of the flowers, plants and trees but also that of the sun, the moon and the stars, the spirit of the land, and the elements present. I offer my most heartfelt intention that these wild offerings spark re-membrace of your true nature. May this communion with the flowers, plants and trees lead you forward on a journey of deep devotion to the wild inner landscape of beauty that lives within.

With love and flowers,
Danielle
