I’m Danielle.
YOGA GUIDE | CEREMONIAL SPACE HOLDER | NATURE VISIONARY
I want to journey alongside you.
To guide the path towards reconnection with your cyclical rhythm, to witness the unfolding of the seasons of your life, to inspire the art of noticing, to listen, as you make meaning, to celebrate your illuminations, and stand beside you in the embodiment of the ebb and flow of your essence, in re-membrance of the way of the feminine.
On this earthly journey, I am a womban, daughter, granddaughter, sister, wife, mother to three teenagers, and friend. I, like you, am also so much more than any label we may use to describe ourselves, in our beingness. Home is the land I am honoured to live upon, and be welcomed by, Tkaronto – Toronto, Canada (Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabewaki, Wendat and Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nations Territory) and more specifically the Scarborough Bluffs; a place once known as as the Scarborough Highlands.
As a yoga & meditation teacher, lunar facilitation guide, women’s circle tender, and earth medicine maker, I support women in re-membering their inherent wholeness through their connection with the natural world. I inspire the healing of soma and spirit with the seasons, as radical reclamation and knowing of the rhythms of earth, as our own.
This is re-membrance of the way of the feminine, earth as Divine Mother, mirror of rhythmic intelligence, of beauty and open heartedness and of weaving together in community, knowing we are never lost and never truly alone.
I am forever deepening my relationship with nature, allowing curiosity to inform my being. Becoming and unbecoming whilst journeying the seasons of my life. Honouring all of the women I have been and have yet to become. Inviting reverence for the sacred in everyday and practicing life as ceremony in devotion to the ordinary, everyday magic.
I would feel honoured to connect with you, in support of your unfolding journey.
May you feel deeply loved,
Danielle

Cycles & Seasons
There is a rhythm that runs through all cycles.
The breath cycle, day/night cycle, lunar cycle, menstrual cycle, seasonal cycle, creative cycle and the life cycle. This rhythm is one of expansion and contraction, action and rest, building, delivering and releasing. Awareness of cycles creates rhythmic intelligence and cyclical fluency.
Living in communion and connection with natural cycles allows for insight into your own personal rhythms. Following cycles helps to develop a relationship with transitions and change and inspires reverence for the unique energy of each phase. It provides us insight into our own subtle energetics and how we show up in the world.
Following the lunar cycle is one such way to live in alignment with natural cycles. The lunar cycle beautifully mirrors our “inner” menstrual cycle as women, as well as the larger “outer” cycles in nature, within the shorter context of a month. Developing a practice of following the lunar cycle helps to act as a lens which allows us to experience the outer cycles of nature in discovery of our own inner cycles and the dynamic rhythm we experience day today month-to-month year to year. It allows us the framework to experience all of the different phases and the energies that are present with each phase, in the context of a month thereby developing our cyclical fluency. We are invited into relationship with the art of noticing when we develop a practice of charting with the moon. With the moon as our guide we can track personal patterns and energies through daily observation, working with intentions, creative practice and reflection.
Discovering our own unique rhythm through the lens of cycles allows us to connect to our true nature. Our truth. We may experience more grounded-ness in our own intuition, authority, and personal sovereignty. Instead of outsourcing our power we look within for answers. We may then come to know our purpose and begin to live in alignment with this purpose. Acting and moving from a place of divine guidance. Sharing our unique gifts as medicine and showing up in the world in ways that are most meaningful to us.
Living in alignment with cycles is an act of rebellion, it is radical self care it is choosing to step away from a linear society where we are programmed to follow the herd, to consume and conform, to not rock the boat or not step out of line, or dare to question the Status quo. The purpose of such a linear society ultimately serves to sever our connection to nature and ourselves.
May we come to know the rhythm of cycles and the power of co-regulation with nature. Through this knowing, may we consciously choose to move towards the innate wisdom held within the body. May we befriend our multiplicities, expressed as our true nature, without pathology and celebrate all necessary parts of the whole. In doing so, may we add to the richness and biodiversity of this life on earth. Let us re-member (find again, put back together) our connection to the earth to each other and to all things. May we live in the rhythm and reverence of our lives.
